JFP Analysis 2004
There are two kinds of data here. The first set of tables just consists of raw counts - I just counted the number of jobs that are available to tenure-track faculty, or have AOS metaphysics among other things. The second count splits up each job among the available options. So a job that's open rank counts as 0.5 of a tenure-track job and 0.5 of a senior job, and a job that's AOS ethics or ancient or philosophy of science counts 0.33 of a job in each category. An open rank job with that AOS would count as 0.17 of a tenure-track job in each area.
